Severn Wye Energy Agency (SWEA), a charitable company with a programme of work to develop the sustainable use of energy in the South West and Wales sub-regions, in partnership with Powys County Council, is looking for partners who are intent on bidding for funding under the Intelligent Energy for Europe Programme.
The emphasis of the project would be to see real progress in reducing carbon emissions and there would need to be a robust programme of monitoring.
This partnership would seek to make progress with existing initiatives and seek to improve policies and performance via exchange of experience is areas such as: In-house energy use reduction through technology; In-house use of renewable energy and low-carbon technologies; Facilitation of the installation of sustainable energy measures in the domestic, community and SME sector; and more.
